I’ve attached photos of the App, which’s allows you to make a pet profile and track your pet’s health and check feeding status. It is also able to set “care” reminders for vet apps and grooming that your pet is due for. So far, I only use it to remind me to brush my cat’s teeth haha!
Bought this two weeks for my cats who need to be on a diet, and we love it!
We had some minor issues with time setting on the app (It was acting as if the feeder was in China and not the US) so I had to do some time conversions. I contacted PETKIT about it and they were very helpful and worked diligently to resolve the issue. It now works beautifully and feeds at 7am when I set it for 7am.
The only other issue I have is that my cat chewed through the power cord. I had a to buy a knockoff replacement cord, which my cat also promptly chewed through. I have decided to just use the batteries to power the feeder to avoid this issue in the future and to make sure I always have a spare set of batteries on hand.
My cat can't open it and he can't paw any extra food out of it because of how the feeder is designed. It looks great, very sleek and modern. It's very easy to use, and I like the tracking features on the PETKIT app. If you are looking for a good quality feeder, I would highly recommend this one. The price seems steep at first, but I feel like the quality of the unit is superior and makes it money well spent. 10 out of 10!
