We purchased this for our two year old Golden Retriever after we added a new puppy to our household. We didn’t want the new puppy to learn to chase cars, like his older brother had, unfortunately. First, we got a cheaper “starter” collar and could tell that the concept would work. The first one stopped working when it
got wet. We live on the coast and our “boys” swim in saltwater every day. So, we got this one based on the reviews saying it was waterproof. It turns out that they were right. This is so much better quality than the other, cheaper collar. The price point is great! It was not that much more expensive than the first one we had, but the quality is so much better. It holds up to the daily wear and tear and saltwater exposure, and is so easy to charge and keep clean. We like that there’s an easy way to charge both the collar and the remote at the same time. It holds its charge well also. We’ve not had to shock our golden yet, as the beep is sufficient. He’s a quick learner and it’s stopped his dangerous car chasing habit. It’s also helped us keep him close by when going to the beach and he’s so well behaved that he’s now setting the perfect example for the puppy. We plan to order another collar for the little guy when the time comes. We highly recommend this very high quality product. You won’t regret this purchase.

Nice quality collar
I got this collar to replace my aging Dogtra collar. For dog sports I love my Dogtra, but for around the house and house manners this has been a quality replacement collar. I like that it has tone, vibration, and the shock option. I primarily use the collar on vibration only, but I was interested in the tone feature as well. The shock (which I tested on myself) is quite strong each level is a bigger jump in level than the Dogtra. The Dogtra offers a nice ability for fine tuning when training with over 100 levels, but this collar is great for around the house with just 16 levels. Like I mentioned the shock is quite strong I would always recommend testing it on your hand first and starting at the lowest level. When moving to the dog always start on the lowest setting and keep it on the lowest setting possible. Collar charges quickly and holds a charge for a long time. Remote is not too bulky, easy to hold, clip on pants or stick in a pocket. I have not really tested range but around the house and back yard it has work without fault. Packaged nicely with different contact tips for different coat length or use the shock contact points off completely if you intend to use for tone/vibration only.
