Product Description
The GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are durable tools for most jobs. They are made from alloy steel with either a full polish or satin finish that resists rust & corrosion. The off-corner loading design on both ends provides a stronger grip on fasteners, reduces fastener rounding, and delivers up to 25% more torque to the fasteners. Sizes are stamped on the beam for quick, easy, & permanent identification. The box end is offset 15° for increased access to fasteners. Available in stubby & long pattern lengths and 6 & 12 point, the GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are a must have for every toolbox.

Great quality at an affordable price.
I have been using this wrench set for several months now. They have seen a lot of use and I am very happy with them. I received all of the sizes that I was supposed to and they don't skip any sizes until they get up into the really large wrenches. They do offer the large sizes that are skipped individually for a reasonable price if you find that you need those sizes. I did and I bought all of them. The chrome finish is very nice and the build quality is great. The length is a bit longer than standard length wrenches and I like the extra leverage but I have still used a cheater bar on some of them which they handled with no problems. The ends are a little bulky compared to hogher priced wrenches like Snap=On but lets face it, they are nowhere near the same price. You would only be able to buy the one biggest wrench in this set from Snap=On for the price of all 44 of these. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again if the need arose, I don't think you will find a better wrench for the price.
Switched from snap on
I bought these to actually replace my snap on wrenches that were so over priced for what they were. I personally found that these fit better on nuts and bolts than my snap on ones did. Way better value, with more wrench sizes as well. As a heavy desiel mechanic that uses these daily, they hold up beautifully.
Best Bang for your buck!
I work as a diesel mechanic & needed a set of wrenches. I needed the set to go big in both sae &mm & didn't want to spend a bunch of $. I could've went with the tool truck "snap on/matco", as he comes once I week. After receiving this Gearwrench/ Apex wrench set I noticed the 1/2 wrench was slightly bowed/ bent... Took a pic & sent it to Apex & 2weeks later got replacement in the mail for FREE & also got to keep the 1/2 bent wrench... if I had to do it again I'd still choose this set hands down.
Very good quality
I was looking for a wrench set that had good quality and didn’t skip any numbers with a lifetime warranty. As a mechanic my shop uses MAC and Snap-On for most tools. I needed to buy a good product or I would hate my tools. After watching YouTube videos comparing multiple brands of wrenches I heard about Gearwrench. They scored the same as Snap-On in multiple categories across the board. I purchased the 44 piece set. I received all the correct wrenches. All products were marked and had great quality. All products had a 12pt closed end. I saw reviews that were negative towards the product. I have no complaints. The 44 piece set is quality and I will definitely be recommending this set to the other maintainers in my shop.

Got this amazing set for my husband for our 29th anniversary. This man has every dang tool known to man I think, but his wrenches were very old, missing sizes and whatnot. He was so excited to get a nice big new set. He ran right out and bought new wrench racks for his toolbox. Size selection is fantastic. Got them on a great sale. Would buy again.
Everything for a good price.
Just received my 44pc and organized it in my tool box. I will say I didn’t expect these to be so long! Much better than my short craftsmens. They have a good thickness and feel to them. For a weekend mechanic or hobbies this kit seems great. I haven’t used them yet of course but all seems good. Only down fall i have a slight complaint about is the consistency of the hole sizes/ placements. Some closed ends seem thicker than others and my 1 1/16 came much too close to the edge. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the strength but time will tell.

I’m gonna say it. These are better than snap-on IMO. I’ve been a mechanic for 21 years now. These really are the best bang for the buck. Now I’m really rough on tools because I work a lot on agricultural equipment & this have stood up to the abuse. These are made by the apex tool group & if one breaks, just bring it to Home Depot & they will exchange it. I haven’t had any break yet with applying great force with breaker bars & everything else. The package these come in make it great to carry the set with you in a tractor or just keeping tools together. Packaging was very nice, shipping was very fast & just the best wrenches I’ve ever used.
